Sunshine Plaza Undergoes Major Rebrand as Victorian State Government Opens New Office
/Sunshine Plaza is entering an exciting new chapter, with a significant investment being made into a major rebrand and revitalisation of the centre. As part of this transformation, installation of new signage is now underway, reflecting a fresh, modern look that better aligns with the evolving identity of Sunshine and its vibrant community.
Adding to this momentum, Sunshine Plaza is proud to welcome the Victorian State Government, which officially opened a major office within the centre in March 2025. The office can accommodate approximately 300 public sector employees, making Sunshine Plaza a dynamic hub of both commercial and civic activity.
With a highly multicultural primary trade area, Sunshine Plaza sits within a uniquely dynamic community. Sunshine itself has been designated as a ‘Priority Precinct,’ ‘Metropolitan Activity Centre,’ and ‘National Employment and Innovation Cluster.’ By 2050, both job opportunities and the resident population in Sunshine are projected to double, creating substantial demand for retail, educational, and medical services.
“This marks a new era for Sunshine Plaza,” said Michael Haddrick, Comac Retail Property Group CEO. “The rebrand and new signage represent the commitment to growth, innovation and connection with the community. The presence of the Victorian State Government also strengthens the centre’s position as a central focus for services, jobs, and engagement.”
Sunshine Plaza continues to evolve as a key part of the western suburbs, offering a blend of retail, services, and now, important government functions all under one roof.
